passwords for servers

HONTOOSE

Each time you click on a server you have to put a password to enter. This could be turned off in server settings. For example: I had someone go on my friends computer and add an admin role to his account, go back on his account and wreak havoc. This is why I want server passwords. Hey discord devs THIS IS NOT THE SAME POST AS THIS ONE so please do not delete it. My last post about this is getting deleted, so I had to make a new one.

    I would love password protection for servers, for the sake of keeping things away from outside vying eyes. It'd be great to have that layer of security in case someone (in real life) somehow got access to my phone/laptop.

    This could be implemented as an auto-locking setting for individual servers (admin generated, collectively used passcode), or auto-locking for the entire app/client itself (general custom passcode). Or both lol

    (This goes a step beyond just a "password protected channel" feature, which would be futile since we already have roles, permissions, and the channel-locking mechanism.)
