Finding messages through user ID

Make it possible to search for messages on a server from users, using their account IDs, useful for looking up the records of banned and deleted accounts.

This is not the same suggestion as the already-present searching "from:Discord#DISC", used for looking up records of members who have left a server. The suggestion is to make it possible to search for messages "from:<ACCOUNT-ID>"

    You can already do this if you have their tag (NAME#0000). If you don't have their tag but have their user ID you can resolve it into a tag by using the following format: <@!USER_ID>.

    Great idea, this would also be really awesome to search for messages from deleted users!

    BassGhost -- if you read crov's message in full context he is speaking specifically of users that have deleted their discord accounts or users that have been banned from the server (though i'm not sure if bans are the same behavior as deleted accounts)

     

    Bump: +1 👍 searching for users by id exists, BUT those that have since deleted their discord account is confirmed not to work.  These messages should still be queryable but trying to change the "deleted user" nickname developer tools shows a 404 and searching from:id returns no results.

     

     

    Please allow us to query for deleted user's messages.
