The "NOTE" section should work like nicknames do.
I haven't met a single person who uses the "NOTE" section on profiles, and it would be fundamentally more useful if it worked like nicknames; per server, visible to everyone, able to be set by moderators/admins or by users themselves.
I've seen several servers that have a "minor / adult" set of roles, pronoun roles, whether an individual's DM's are open, etc etc etc, and while this is a really nice Solution to not having easily accessible information on users, it's fundamentally engineering a solution to a problem by using something else entirely, and it's a really clunky solution because roles have to be made for every option available.
It'd be really nice to be able to have a quick "about" set for yourself in servers, visible to other users just by clicking on your username for easy reference.

I use the note section myself, but just to record who is who for in case someone changes their name later on. I think your ideas are pretty good, and there should be a description in the member popup which works like a nickname, and have the "about me" show up on users' profiles.
Just for context, this is what I mean by "member popup"
and obviously a profile is when you click on their profile pic from there.

thousands of users use the notes feature as-is.
the problem with it not working though, is that what USED to have no cap, suddenly got one. You can read more about it here, from many disgruntled users who want the freedom to add notes again.
