Re-Add the Ability to Use Spaces in Channel Names.
So previously, users had the free ability to use spaces (rather than the usual hyphens) within their channel names to allow them the ability to give their channels a new, concise, and personalized look alongside emoji/symbol usage to their interest (for example, #👋 — welcome).
This was easily made possible with the help of bot owners and developers who wanted to give Discord users a chance to have the option to be able to do this so that it wouldn't be a "#💬-channel-with-many-dashes" as opposed to "#💬 — very less dashes".
One of the few recent updates that have been implemented to the service hardly make this possible. While it was not an intended function from the service itself, that does not mean it should be refrained from operating. I am not aware of the specific methods that are used to cause such a change because of the fact that Discord auto-formats it to the normal and typical dash-per-phrase, but it would really result in many server owners and managers contributing to its re-addition.
If anything, I would strongly prefer an official consideration for it in a future update rather than users having to rely on bots to make this change possible.

i have to agree! servers unfortunately look so messy with the dashes :(

Copy paste this character.

Not bad for "this or that" type of channel names, like #cars_and_trucks could be #cars︱trucks instead... I still prefer using underscores though: #this_channel_name looks a lot better than #this-channel-name imo.

Please add it back! Very important and beauty feature!!

Yep, Agreed. Please add back. We should be able to put it manually if we wanted too.

Isn't this the one thing that bothers us all? You have a really cool idea for a channel name, but not only aren't caps allowed, but you can't space out the words. Usually channel names can be 1-2 words long, and rarely does it need to show the three .'s at the end.
Please, add caps AND spacing to channel names.0 -
Hey Discord, what is going on with the hyphen ?? please make title name free, not only Hyphens, but for Caps two ! its terrible to have hyphen and no caps !!!!

@Syntab I just tested this on out and it definitely works on PC (via launcher and web browser). It displays as an unknown character on mobile (iOS). Regardless, thanks for the help!

I really think this primary suggestion post should focus on a genuine way to simply type a space (and some more other commonly used special characters) in channel names or use other characters. I'm willing to bet that would be a pretty welcome change whilst achieving the same goal.
It should be relatively simple to just allow more characters to be used in the channel mention slash command even if it isn't just black/whitelist restricted already. They can store messages like this, so I see no reason they couldn't with channel names. Even if not, it should be able to be changed with not too much work (relatively speaking, depending on how complex their feature pipeline is).
Either way, I think a solid solution to this would be a very popular feature even for those who don't realize it. If a server uses shitty formatting, that's at their own peril. Can always default to the standard way for server owners and have an option to toggle it with a checkbox or something, even if hidden as a toggle under advanced options.
If they use annoying or shitty channel names, I don't see why they shouldn't be able to do so at their own peril.

Discord should add back the spaces to all other channel types including voice channels,
Servers look cleaner, less dashed.0
