Suggestions to protect self from scams

long story short, my friend recently got scammed and i had to write this, if there is any reasons why such methods cant be implemented, please do say why

So basically, my friend recently got scammed, and it is a pretty big loss (around 400 USD). Unfortunately, he does not have physical evidence to use against said scammer as the scammer used Discord Voice Chat feature to leave no traces behind. Im pretty sure that voice chat audio logs are not recorded nor stored in one way or another. It would be great if users are given the option to toggle the recording of the ongoing conversation between parties for both voice chat and personal calls at a click of a button which would be stored in local storage at one's desired file path. This would greatly help the community of various game communities and would be a great feature to have since scammers are now using Discord to scam their victims which is no longer the intended purpose of Discord. (the ability to obtain irrefutable evidence between scammer and victim)
