Suggestion: Allow custom statuses to appear for offline users

I'd love for people to see my custom statuses even when I'm offline. Being offline doesn't mean I want to hide the status I've put out, and I don't see a situation where it would. I stay offline always for personal reasons but I still want all my friends to see how I'm doing! Thanks Discord people for making a good program.

    Same, I hate that I can't use custom statuses just because I stay invisible all the time. Skype allowed this with its statuses, people could see even if offline/invisible.

    That's kinda dumb. The point of having the offline status is so people don't know if you're online. If they were to implement this feature, it would throw the offline status in the trash.

    ^ You're not getting what I or OP mean. On Skype, you could see others' statuses even if they're offline. This meant invisible and offline still looked the same. It wouldn't throw the offline status in the trash. You still would be unable to tell if a user is offline or invisible. 

    For someone like me, who spends all time invisible, I can't use the custom statuses at all and it sucks. Having the custom statuses visible even if offline just like Skype had would fix that.

    I agree with this, I think it would be useful for when you want to tell people that you won't be online because you're on vacation, for example.

    It would be nice to be able use the custom status to put a message there and have it be visible. Because I stay invisible most of the time, but I still want to put something there for others to see from time to time.

    4 years later and this hasn't been implemented which is a bit sad :( I wish my custom status would show even though I am invisible all the time.

    I wish this would be implemented. Especially with the recently added VC activity status they implemented. Even that won’t show when I’m invisible and I’m clearly IN the VC. Why would it not show my activity status in the VC just because I’m invisible….
