Server Deletion Grace Period

I’ve had a recent experience where my friend’s laptop was stolen while still logged in. The person who stole it deleted the discord server he owned that had 2 years worth of chat logs from him and all of his friends. There is no way to gain those back. If discord had a grace period before deletion even a 12 hour grace period this whole situation could have been avoided. This situation could also happen if a discord account had been hacked. So much destruction that could be avoided by one simple change. It really does not make sense that this is not a feature already. Especially since discord servers are becoming bigger and bigger.

    Yeah they really need to add that, unfortunately won't fix the past...

    Apparently the Rock Raiders United official Discord recently got deleted in a panic due to a community-threatening situation, and the owner was not aware that there was no way to restore it.

    Ignorance is bliss, except when it's bluff. If there was a way to restore a server but with all members removed and no working invites, that might be the most logical.
