Mention just any role as server owner?

First i will excuse myself if a similar post already excists

So while working with a new bot on my server i stumbled over a tiny convinience problem, i can not mention any role as owner unless i go to the role settings and 'Allow anyone to @mention this role'. I mean as owner of the server i should be able to mention anyone and any role at any time even if i didn't 'Allow anyone to @mention this role'.

I hope there is no programm restriction that makes this tiny convinience problem impossible to remove/change in a future update.
