Please add a little checkmark verification for new users joining your server

Hi

I dont understand why do i have to find bots to do this for me/for us !!!

I have to resort to bots like Carl-bot to have my self a verification system for new users that join my server.Carl-bot has a little checkmark box that u can setup for new users to click and only right after, they can see and acces entire server, or specific channels.

 

Discord team, pls implement this cuz i bet alot of us wants this

    U know if the discord team do this then all bots which have that function will be usless
    Mainly since adding that would render that function needing to be removed from bots and a LOT of servers would need to reconfig their verification since most bot owners would then have to reprogram the bot or even delete the bot since the discord servers already have that function uploaded

    I'm sure other discord bots can live without function very well since i bet the discord team can implement that very intuitive and well

    Bots cant do exactly that but they can offer up a captcha or a link. They cannot create a "check mark box". This feature is still very much pointless in my opinion.

    See Carl-bot. He can do that but it requires some setup and fiddeling with permisions but i hate that when the Discord team could do this easy and more intuitive. It's a good protection system, in btw. Think about it
