Infinite channels/channel categories

So, I have a server relating to a game series me and my friends love. It is a competitive server based on a well-known game series known as Just Dance, (nearly) every routine in the Just Dance game series is to have its own channel, but, we've run out of channel space and are missing 3 full games and half of one.

I'm sure this'll benefit other servers too; given that there is a 500 limit as it is now, that means people could very well be creating massive servers. So, if that is truly the case, I don't see why it is too much of a stretch to make it infinite, and if not infinite, then at least a larger maximum should work. But, given that I don't know how this stuff works, it might be a bit of an unrealistic request.

If it is not possible for infinite channels to become a thing, me and the server admins are to find a work-around. That's no big deal. Since we are so determined to make the server happen, this little thing will not be much of an issue, but, we would appreciate infinite channels.

    Gotta say that this has to be a pretty crazy use case! I understand the need for more server slots, but 500 channels? I didn't even know that was possible!

    I don't have a lot to add to this, but, I would suggest using linked servers as an optional work around, perhaps one for each game or just like a couple more for the remaining games?

    I can't see them making infinite channels, and 500 already seems like a LOT. But maybe it's not so bad an idea, I'm just not sure what channels do to memory, servers are limited due to well, discord needing to not use all their server memory al at once. But channels might be different?

    What about if they moved it up to at least 1000? idk about infinite but double?

    ive been very impressed by discords channels limit lately to be knowing i was mayby able to put infinite of channels in my server made me do the server i allways dreamed off.

    The server was about to reach the 500 vocals in the end of the year' until this one message broke my mind appppart to complete darkness. :discord server channels reached: 500: it made me lose all hope in doing the server since i wanted to make the biggest vocal server all discord could ever see_ and try to beat my own record of going over 1000 vocals by the time i keep working on it into the next years coming...

    So i tought the discord community would finally add infinite channels to the App #Discord# _but infact over every updates i kept following none of that happen_ Please let us discord have infinite channels' it dose sounds pretty crazy but, i think every discord community servers would be in love to have infinite* channels.

    And i could finally break a record of making mayby 2000-3000 vocals in a single community at the next years coming, who knows' mayby infinite channels can change everything on discord??.
