Nitro monthly server boost with yearly subscription

Currently, those who own a monthly nitro subscription will be able to buy server boosts on monthly basis, whereas yearly nitro users will be able to buy server boosts on yearly basis only. I am a yearly nitro booster, and there's a server I'd like to boost on monthly basis (first of all, cheaper, and second I might not really want to buy a yearly server boost), but it's not possible! I contacted discord support and they had mentioned depending whether you're a monthly or yearly nitro subscriber, it'll determine whether you monthly or yearly server boost. I don't personally see the relevancy here of the length of our nitro subscription to the length of server boosting. It would be nice if there would be an option to choose for server boosting whether monthly or yearly and not solely based on your current nitro subscription.

  I've just been bitten by this. I switched my subscription to yearly and now I have to pay for a server boost for a whole year! This is ridiculous. There was no prior warning that this would be the case. It's frustrating.
