Fixing Spam Bot Solution Proposal

Hello,

Our server got overrun by spambots that send messages and advertise stuff like game servers.

Would there be a way to expand the privacy settings slightly?

Current Privacy Settings
- allow messages between members of the server
- disallow messages between members of the server

New Proposal Privacy Settings
- allow messages between members of the server
- disallow messages between members of the server

Advanced Privacy Settings (In Role Settings)
1) Allow incoming messages from following Roles:
- XXX
- @Everyone

2) Allow outgoing messages from following Roles:
- XXX
- @Everyone

That way moderators can always be messaged, and admins can reach out to the people on the server. While those pesky bots effectively get stopped.

Our game staff messages players & is messaged by players frequently, however we can only do it if the game servers have the privacy on.

In our case we'd allow all incoming messages only to our Staff / Moderators.

Any chance something about it could be done? Until such feature is implemented we will have to turn off the privacy settings.
