Allow roles to only mention specific roles

This might have been posted before but this would be very useful for discord servers that has teams and wants team captains to be able to only mention their role without having permissions for @everyone and @here.

The new update is nice and everything but wouldnt it be smarter to speerate the role mention and the @here and @everyone permissions for channels? I want people to be able to do role mentions only in certain channels and only for certain roles without being able to mention the entire server or all other roles aswell.

For example if you have teams in your server, allow the team captains to only mention their team without being able to use @here and @everyone. So kind of like a permission where you can put together a list that says "Allow this role/user to mention following roles:"

I think this is a long requested feature by so many people and I really want to see it being integrated.

You can actually do this with @here and @everyone already. If you go to "Roles" and click on any specific role, scroll down a bit and you will see the option here:

Deselecting it will make it so the @here and @everyone options can't be used by users with this role. They can still mention other roles.

There does not seem to be a way to select which other roles can be mentioned or where, though - so if @Team1 is a pingable role, then anyone can mention it even if they can't @everyone. Hopefully at least this small adjustment can help you somewhat.
