l would like to report a user for pedophilia, but l don't want to destroy the accounts of his victims.
Hi! I've been having trouble finding a concrete answer for this question, so l wanted to try and ask someone at Discord directly. I would like to report a user for pedophilia, as he has had an inappropriate relationship with two minors, three including myself. However, l don't want to destroy the accounts of his victims, as l believe it would not be fair to them. If l report this user for pedophilia, will the other accounts (including mine) be safe?

I'm not with Discord but your account should be 100% safe, only the pedophile would actually receive a punishment.

Victims accounts would be safe, only the pedophile's account will be effected. Report the pedophile to discord trust and safety here with the User ID, Message ID, Channel ID and Server ID which on how you can do it can be viewed here. Send discords trust and safety team as much evidence as you can about this pedophile and it's victims. If you could find out the location about the pedophile please report it to your local police department or the pedophiles nearest police department about this.

It might be too late, but those accounts would most likely not be safe. I have a friend, 15 years old, who was sent NSFW photos after telling them they were 15. They gathered a lot of evidence along with another account the pedophile had after my friend had originally blocked them. Discord suspended their account and claimed they couldn't do anything with screenshots. Since then, my friend has handed the messages over to the police who are handling it as they should. I wouldn't advise you use Discord to handle the situation.

Oh, and by the way. My friend had the pedophiles user ID. They couldn't use the message IDs for the pictures themselves because they kept deleting them, hence using the screenshots. Yet, Discord used those same screenshots against a minor, even though they claimed to not be able to use it against the pedophile.

Discord has a serious pedophile and cp issue and it concerns me how easy it is to stumble upon that stuff if your just surfing through random servers. Please do something about this

I had a friend who had to make multiple accounts because he called out pedophiles in the discord staff and they kept banning his accounts if they found him with a new one. Discord will not do anything about pedophilia because they have pedophiles on their team. They are probably "Maps" or "minor attracted people". Basically pedophiles trying to infiltrate the LGBT community. They even made their own pride flag. Absolutely disgusting. I really do have sympathy, they don't care about your friends. Because they support people who want to abuse children like this.

Exactly what I just said. There are pedophiles on the Discord staff and they will go after people if they call them out. My friend had them chasing him. He had to create multiple accounts just to be able to stay on the service. Every time they would find him they would delete his new account. This is why they won't do anything for your friends. They have pedophiles on their staff.
