Add to friend by link

Most of social platforms has a 'profile' link you can share in community platforms(forums/blogs etc) and the link will take to their profile.

example:

discord.gg/profile/<userId/username>

  I get what you mean by this and i think it's a pretty good idea however, you can add people in discord through their usernames and tags and check their profile by clicking/tapping on their username in a server or group.

  I would say discordapp.com/profile/<userid> would be better than discord.gg/profile/<userid/username>

  I gave URL just for example to describe what I mean :)

   

  And I know I can add people in discord from app directly but I mean like You have sites where you can set your YouTube channel or any else social platform and then its will be hyper link and clickable to theirs profile/channel
