Game Launcher & Activity Feed
I understand and respect why they were removed (this slight "rebranding" as a more mature, strictly for communication app) the games library and the activity feed from the app but if Activity News Feed and the Games Launcher (not the library, that can be left out, but the games launcher specifically) was reworked to be less cluttered and made to be opt-in (There used to be a setting to opt-out of it, so why not have one to opt-in?) it could just be an additional unified tab the would appear next to friends and nitro (the latter of which in my opinion shouldn't even be on Home but I also, again, understand why its there.).
Sure, there are alternatives, GOG Galaxy 2.0 being one of them but Discord used to be the place to get all my gaming news, chat with friends and launch my games regardless of which of launchers from the plethora of game launchers that some of us have my games were on. Making it opt-in would then both satisfy the new, more mature, face of discord whilst still providing a real hub for gamers.
TL;DR: I feel a reworked activity page that encompasses the best of the old activity page and the games launcher should come back in an opt-in format that would place it back on the Home page of Discord next to Friends & Nitro (Should be removed from Home). I know this is old news too but I have been hellishly busy with work.
Do any of you feel the same?
My little echo chamber of friends doesn't represent the userbase so I am intrigued to know what others feel about the removal of it as well as opinions on a reworked return.
