call goes quiet but not dropped

OK so My Wife and I are separated in different countries currently and use discord for all our calling needs and communications as international calling is expensive. now the problem is that we are in call all day and or night and then the call acts as if we are dropped like no sound from either of us until we hang up and restart the call this never use to happen now its happening all the time and we do not understand why or how to fix it.
we are both on mobile app if that makes a difference though we still get this if she is on her phone and i am on the PC. discord isn't actually kicking us or hanging up it just goes silent and we don't realize until we dont get a response from the other person. this is annoying as it happens mid conversation.

This is happening to me too! It started back in March for me, and it's driving me nuts. It's been in both private calls and group calls, and it's actually making me miss conversation because it's only happening on my end, and I'm on mobile. I think it's a mobile issue because my friends and my significant other will be on PC. I tried contacting discord about it and they we're trying to ask me about desktop client when I only have mobile.

I'm sorry about that. Do you mind enabling the "Call mode" and see if it helps? Could you also try changing the Low-latency Harware Acceleration as well? If those didn't help, hopefully disabling the Noise suppression will help.
