Account/Data Security
It's amazing how discord is based entirely on the web with some software to help, it truly is something that is remarkable in terms of the speed and multi platform support. I had a suggestion for discord media (inclusive of files) to have a destruction timer within direct messages. I suggest this idea because it would make privacy less of a concern; as someones discord can be hacked into I suggest that the implementation of timers for files and media would allow you to retain your privacy after getting your account compromised. Please let me know what your thoughts/feedback are.
Thank you

It doesn't make sense for them to spend time engineering something like that as a.) it's a counter intuitive feature for the service that discord provides (sending messages and data back and forth between users), b.)you can already go back and edit or delete any direct message manually and c.) users need to be realistic about the level of data sensitivity in the files and messages that they transmit via discord. Breaches are a matter of when, not if, but you can mitigate your risk by not using discord to transmit data you feel is going to jeopardize your personal privacy in compromised.
If you go into Account>Settings> there are options to specifically address what you are requesting. I suggest looking at their Privacy Policy. If you wouldn't email it, then I wouldn't use a free service like discord for it.
