Option to Disable @mentions for a user role

In order to make server management easier (e.g. new users joining and trolling by pinging mentionable user roles) it would be great have an option which disables the mentioning of @roles by certain roles.

For example, by default the role "everyone" or a "new member" role (applied by bots) could have this option enabled, effectively disabling them to ping other mentionable roles on the server. Only once they are promoted to a "member" or "verified" status, will they be able to ping the roles which are selected to be mentionable for everyone else.

in addition, it would be great if Discord would allow you to select a default role new members receive after joining the server (but that would be different type of feedback).
