[Suggestion] Stop mass banning accounts
Greetings.
As you may guess, recently my account got disabled for "violations of our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines". As it turned out, it happened because I was in a server got banned along with everyone in it. Over the course of the past few days I have submitted two support tickets, which, as you may guess, didn't get me anywhere.
This is unfair because I had less than 10 messages sent to that server over the span of my presence there. I want you to take into consideration who you ban, instead of just swinging your ban hammer at everyone. It's incredibly frustrating for me to lose an almost 3 year old account for something I have no direct involvement with.
My suggestion is that you implement a filter that prevents inactive members from getting nuked. For instance, if a server member has less than 100 messages or wasn't active for a long period of time, they won't get banned. This would save hundreds, if not thousands of people from unjustified bans.
Plus, when you're banned like this, there is no way for you to get your account back, because the Discord Support Team will straight up refuse to help you resolve the issue (all I got from them was two letters stating that they will not be reinstating my account, without any details. My further messages were ignored)

Take my upvote! I couldn't agree more with this. I've had friends that got banned for bullshit reasons.

Discord doesnt actually have a feature that allows you to mass ban. This is something created on the side by botmakers.

Just heard about this and can confirm, i've had multiple friends that just join a server and got banned along with everyone in it, this is a really bad precedent to set.
