Allow Nitro users to request for certain tags to be unlocked after period of prolonged activity
I was thinking that Nitro users should be able to request for tags that are owned by non-Nitro users and are no longer in use to be unlocked after they've been inactive for a period of at least, say, a year. For example, the tag I want is owned by a user who does not own Nitro and probably hasn't been on Discord in aeons as they never set up a profile picture and never reacted to my umpteenth friend requests (that is they never accepted or denied them). Personally, I think that those inactive tags should be able to be reclaimed by users who are active and might actually enjoy them, but only if the inactive account in question doesn't have a Nitro subscription associated with it. Accounts with a Nitro subscription, even whilst inactive for an extended period of time, are technically still active as their payment information is being processed and it'd be unfair for Nitro-users to be subjected to this hypothetical policy as they're basically paying to keep their tag. If a non-Nitro user cherishes their tag and fears they could lose it due to inactivity, they can eliminate that remote possibility simply by logging in every now and again or, alternatively, subscribing to Nitro. In short, I think that a certain threshold should be set for inactive tags that are owned by non-Nitro users and might be in demand. What do you guys think?
