Unable to login to my account from browser, being asked to claim someone else's account
There is something terribly wrong with the login system.
I run the discord app on my mac, phone, and through browsers from time to time in other cases. I use various browsers (FireFox, Safari, etc), some of which run natively on my computer whilst other instances are running inside Virtual Machines. Right now I'm stuck trying to log into my account from my Pi4 using FireFox. (Please release and arm64 client soon.)
On https://discord.com/login I was asked to enter my username. I tried using my email address but it wasn't accepted. When I put in my nickname, I was then asked to verify my account, and I chose to give my phone number. I entered the code I received but instead of going to my account, I was then asked to enter my birthday. (I do not want to share this information, since I already have an account and have performed the 2F authentication using my phone.)
Reluctantly, I entered my birthday, but instead of going into my account, I landed on someone else's account and I'm now being asked to claim it !!! WTF The account I'm being asked to claim is "nap #1599". NOT MINE, NO THANKS!
I tried deleting my browser history and cookies but this didn't do anything. When I returned to login, I arrive at "nap #1599". So here I am seeking help on how to get around this shemozzle.
(While I'm here, I'm going to point out that the FAQ concerning the error message stating that I'm claiming an existing account is incorrect. I receive that when I'm being asked to login using MY email address and there is no other address I intend to enter. So the account I'm attempting to claim is actually my own!)

Ok, I decided to delete that account. (Sorry if someone actually owned it.)
This brought me back to the login page, and this time I was successfully able to login using my email/password.
