Can't change roles from my phone

Hello. I'm admin of my server, and i can't change other people's role from my phone (works fine on my laptop). The check box won't work when i go to server settings / members. We have moderators in the server who can also change roles who also have the same problem. Our default setting for the server is newcomers (@everyone) can't talk or read the server until we promote them to another role. It would be useful if we didnt have to log on a computer just to switch roles. Thanks!

    I was able to get it to work by checking the box (once!), closing the app and reopening. No idea why this works.

    Update: it's been working since the last few app updates here. The role boxes wouldn't check back then and everything is fine now.

    My discord app has started having this problem, im also using android. I have an issue with @ mentions not working either, I can't tag people in comments.

    If you're the server owner then this could be a legitimate issue. If you're a server administrator, the problem may be that Discord perceives the administrator role as being lower than the roles you're trying to work with.

    The server owner can fix it for you.
    1) manage server
    2) roles
    3) drag the admin role to the top

    I am having the same issue. I'm on Samsung S20 FE android version 13. My app is up to date. And this JUST started for me (at least as far as I know) this week. DISCORD  you need to get it together and fix this. This has been going on for 2+ years now. >.>
