Multiple Discord Accounts

For many of us we have a personal account and a work/business account for discord, It would be super nice if we could easily switch back and forth between the two without having to sign out then sign back in. Maybe when you click the settings icon under "My account" it could say switch account, when you are signing in for the first time maybe it could look something like this https://i.imgur.com/ctiVQ3K.jpg

It would be amazing if we could just open two Discord applications instead of having the problems of using the browser.

 

It would be super nice since both accounts are linked then you would share discord nitro.

    You know this is something I've been wanting for a long time and I still am I hope this this becomes a thing

    This is actually already kind of possible via a work around.

    What you need to do is create another Windows user account. Then you log into that account, install discord (you may have to install to a different folder but I'm not 100% sure). Then log out of that account and go back into your regular account. Find the executable file for discord. Hold down shift then Right click on discord.exe select "run as another user". Provide the other accounts credentials. And discord will start up another instance and you can log into it with another account.

     

    That trick works with most applications that only allow one instance to run. The restriction is technically one instance per user account not one per computer.

    Or you could... uh. open a second tab on your browser and just sign in there?
