No.

YES, THIS NEEDS TO WORK!!!!! PLEASE! So many people have lost their accounts because of things like this. We need a way to retrieve our lost accounts!

for real, ig supports retrieves your codes and Discord doesn't even care. I need my account back because I will lose full access to my best friends, I forgot their tag and don't have them added elsewhere.

Yeah, this is something definitely needed. I usually have a second account in most servers to avoid stuff like this, but I shouldn't need to have that out of the fear of losing friends and shit.

Ah yes, so that your account can only be stolen once. Perfect.
Did you know you can install 2FA code generators on several devices? Instead of throwing your old devices out, leave one that has the generator as a backup in case something happens to your current one.

Each Discord account should only have 1 chance of recovery after 2fa lockout. Besides, if the user requesting their account's recovery already knows details such as the email and password associated to the account, name and tag, as well as the registration date and other information regarding the account that only the rightful owner should know, they definetely should be able to get their account back. It's awful that people who lost their years old accounts with nitro subscriptions and whatnot will never get them back due to the support team being lazy and careless. Every social platform already implemented this, not just the major ones but ALL OF THEM. Aditionaly, I am aware that it's easy to keep the codes or generally avoid this issue, however I was uneducated and rush but I don't deserve all the anxiety and trauma that losing this account brought onto me. No recovery method exists. Discord refuses to eliminate 2fa for me, email me any of the backup codes, offer a process or test I can undergo, or even send me the data from that account, though they can damn well delete it. It's careless and tragic, why would you defend it?

What's the point of having 2fa if it can just be disabled by a call to the support team? Store the backup codes or don't use 2fa, simple. The proper uses of 2fa do not appreciate your attempts to reduce the security of their accounts because you cannot write down backup codes.

Two-factor authentication by mail must be enabled.
My account is disabled due to this problem.
I attached to them the evidence that proves that I am the owner of the account, but the only response was to delete the account so that I could create a new account with the same mail.
Very stupid. It is assumed that if I have permissions to request deletion of the account, I should also have permissions to restore the account.
