Nesting Server Permissions Together
Having owned my guild's discord server for four years now, this has bothered me for a while: can we please redo server permissions so they're a little more separate? Here's what I mean: I have to give the "manage messages" permission, allowing people to delete other people's messages, in order to allow them to pin messages (totally different and way more harmless). If I want people to be able to create more roles (which my members use as a toy to mess with each other), I also have to give them the ability to give those roles permissions (which by the way, nothing is stopping people from creating new roles to give themselves permissions their current roles don't have... that's quite a loophole). I feel like these things don't belong together; it would be really helpful if we could be more specific about which permissions we wanted to grant, without these hangers-on. As it is, I feel like a control freak who won't share power because I had to pin a muffin recipe for a member recently, and had to explain that I didn't have any issues with him pinning things, or anyone at his level pinning things, but that I couldn't allow him to do it without also allowing everyone at his level to delete other people's messages. It's really frustrating :/ Please consider changing this? Thanks

That deserves it's own thread
