provide a better support, protection privacy and responses team
discord is most likely swamped in tickets and requests overall but, i truly believe they need a better support system and more people on their support and response team. i do understand it must be a lot for the staff and im not bashing them or anything either, i'm just saying it needs to be updated.
the feedback system is sort of neglected at this point, even the posts with a ton of upvotes are getting ignored, and some posts that have been requested for literal years by multiple people repeatedly have gone unnoticed and ignored too.even the 2fa issue has gone unanswered, and that's something that's affecting a ton of people.a lot of people have been locked out of their accounts because discord staff wasnt able to respond fast enough.
it's really frustrating to see people ask for updates that are focusing on something rather important, such as better personal protection services (having the messages of deleted accounts be deleted permanently, bulk delete option, and to fix or even remove the 2fa) repeatedly just for it to get ignored consistently, and have updates that are completely unrelated to whats been begged for numerous of times.
it's even more frustrating when the majority of these requests are quite simple ones, ones that should have been an automatic given, like the full account deletation, one where the messages of deleted users are deleted, followed behind fixing the 2fa, you know, the thing that discord suggests in the first place that their users use to have better protection of accounts. why won't they fix these things? even when they post on twitter, people often reply and complain about these things and yet nothing is changed or done.this really makes the site / app look bad in the long run

You know what would allow them to do this: Charging less for nitro and staying out of politics.
People would be willing to buy more premium features if they cost less. Profit would increase.
People who used to pay for the service no longer will once a for-profit company starts giving their political opinions.
Just a thought-2 -
American Exceptionalism Discord Nitro is the only way that Discord is earning money from us, so already, they don't have much money to play around with. If you're saying that more people would buy it if the prices decreased, then you have to know how much to decrease without getting the price too low that profit is less than before.
Discord was and is still is in a hard position, so we can't possibly blame them for not doing things as we want. Something as simple as adding a button can result in a major bug, which requires time and effort to fix. Especially with COVID-19, they likely have a decreased amount of staff working, which only adds to the stress they're under.
By the way, I don't recall Discord ever going too deep into politics, so I don't understand that part of your argument. Please link or attach a message/image/video of them talking about lots of politics. I am interested to see your response.1
