Continuous Scrolling
It seems the way scrolling back in message history changed.
Formerly, after 50 messages it would hit a bump, coming to a stop and show a loading icon for a split second. Then, 50 more posts would appear.
Now, it scrolls onwards where the other bunch of posts would be, and shows blobs in their place, but still needs a split second to load the actual posts.
I have two concerns regarding this new process:
- The scroll bar (to the right) no longer indicates when the loading of new posts gets invoked. This may be a concern in image-heavy channels while on weak or limited connection.
- Being able to scroll past messages before they appear makes it easier to miss something while scrolling through long message histories.

Yes, I can't see any advantage to the new system. It's not even "better in some ways and worse in others", it's just worse all round. It may feel more responsive, or something, but it functions far less well.
