So discord locked me out of both my main and alt account?

So today I was trying to log into an account I created a while back and got the notice saying "something seems off we NEED you to use a phone number to access this account" and so I did, added the number to my alt but in doing so discord said nothing and removed the number that was connected to my main account.

So I thought well I can just re-add it, and so I removed the number from my alt to find it locked me out and still needed a number for use, didn't care much and went to try to put the number back on my main to find I was locked out of it with the message saying "the number was used on another account recently." 

Ok so I swap the number ONCE and now I'm locked out of my accounts?

I'm moving over to Microsoft Guilded and encouraging others to delete their accounts and follow suit, this is bizarre...

    Same happened with me, they seem to be banning real people and encouraging bots

    Common issue, either you're gonna need a burner number for the meantime or to wait a few days, discord only allows a phone number to be linked to 1 account so it's natural when you add the same number to another account they remove it from the other one, a minor inconvienience at most I guess.
