Auto mute for pinging someone

Hi all,
Recently in my Discord server we (admins+) have been running into the issue of being pinged, especially the owner. He is a Twitch streamer and people are always pinging him asking him when he will stream. This has led me to think of some solutions, however I can't find any bots for this issue. My other idea was that there could be a setting when creating a role called "Not pingable by @ everyone" or something along those lines. This could be overridden by administrators obviously, but I don't see why this is too far out of reach for Discord developers. Please let me know what you think!
