Can't upload a less than 10mb gif as an avatar

I'm a Nitro Classic user, and I tried uploading a less than 10mb gif as my avatar multiple times (tried compressing, resizing, etc) but Discord just keeps saying that the file can't be larger than 10mb. Anyone else having this issue? Hope it gets fixed asap.

    hey everyone dont know if ur reading this but i pressed skip on the bottom left after change avatar and it goes through without a hick let me know if this helps. or dont, it works for me maybe it will help you. cheers

    If your image is already fitted for your profile banner, you should try to "Skip" the cropping part instead. That solved the issue for me. I believe that is because the cropping feature does not work too well with gif format.

    Edit: Oh oops! ~ Well it looks like the person above already stated that comment about skipping the cropping option. :P But hey... multiple comments about that cannot hurt.
