  I had the same situation in the end, they said that they would not restore it and asked me to create a new account

  The discord team have many hacked account revival requests, they try their best to complete every single one of them, and they do need to verify you are the original owner of the account. If they cannot verify that you indeed are the owner, then they reserve the right to deny the request.

  I had proof that the account belonged to me, but the tech support simply refused to accept them.
