SMS 2FA Used for Password Change

I think Discord should allow you to Manage your password using the SMS 2FA, if you set your account up with an SMS 2FA wouldn't it just make sense to let people manage their password with SMS 2FA ? I've lost my main account because of this very reason and no longer can access the Racing community I've build over the past year and my other hangout server aswell, discord needs to pull their finger out and fix this, i personally think its really silly, its still an 2FA so why not let people use it aye ?

    Totally agree with this. Really weird IMO how it's cited as a backup 2FA option, but cannot be used for everything 2FA can. Undermines the point of a 2FA option, eh?
