[Feature Request] Discord 2FA with linked email and phone

Literally every single application nowadays allows you to recover your password with sms or email verification except discord.

Discord uses offline methods like backup codes or auth apps which makes it impossible to recover your account when you have lost the codes/ your phone even if you have access to your linked phone number/ email.

When millions of discord users lose their account, they will have to setup a new one, while keeping the old one, increasing the server load, which negatively affects Discord and their customers' user experience after all.

    I'd agree on getting SMS to verify...  I had gotten a new phone a few years ago and I forgot to "back-up" my Authenticator app and now it's useless...no way to "re-add" discord to it under my membership.  So now if I ever lose my backup codes, which I can't access since I can't access my AUTH app...I'm S.O.L..
