Huh? Are they crazy? I assume an "account" is a group. If I were to remove it from my one group in order to join another group, then how would I get back in to me old group?

There are no instructions either. And since I already have an established account, why do I need this verification?

Looks like I won't be using Discord.

    Yes, I have had the same problem for over a month. I was in some school-based channels and had a lot of friends that I can no longer reach. I have taken steps to ensure that discord doesn't do this to me again.

    I have submitted 17 tickets, all of which become closed as "solved" when I still cannot access my account. Then, discord charges my autopay for Nitro. Lol, I ask for refund and they need me to take screenshots. Lol, NP, I have submitted video and snippets aplenty.

    It's ok, I have stopped autopay and also will not be using Discord. Not by choice, Discord refuses to allow me access to my account.

    Don't panic. Contact support. Keep providing them with all necessary information and take it slow. Be patient and you will get through it. As soon as it is fixed, setup two-step authentication.

    I face the exact same problem and it does not make any sense. I have google auth and also already verified my info. Now there is a group I cant join because that all phone verification is messy.

    I have the same problem too ever since I joined one server after I verified my phone number it said "An existing discord account is already using this number. Please remove it before it can be used with a new account." I'm so confused because I checked my old account and my current phone number is not linked there either. It's annoying because I wanna join servers but I need to verify my phone number and even if I do it will say "An existing discord account is already using this number. Please remove it before it can be used with a new account." instead of the verification code as well as I don't even know how to access the discord tickets that they give when I need help.

    same problem i have been emailing support from July 8th until today August 11th with no resolve. I cannot open the app or website past verification code. I have missed a business opportunity and probably more going forward since I have no access and nobody is avail to fix this.  There is no human support just back and forth emails with no resolve. I have sent photos of the issue and I cannot count how many requests for assistance. REMOVE MY NUMBER SO I CAN OPEN AN ACCOUNT!

    I have the same problem and not being able to post anything from my phone.

    I am using discord for first time and I did not open any account here using my phone number

    How the hell can I have another account I know nothing about? I've only ever had ONE account. Is there no way to fix this since it's not worth having if you can't post anything anywhere.
