Can't Verify Phone Number

I get this whenever I try to Verify my phone number.

"An Existing Discord account is already using this number. Please remove it before it can be used with a new account." 

I only have 1 account. I used to have another account but I never verified my phone number on that one either.

Is there anything I can do about this?

  I have the same problem. I get no help from the help desk.

  I figured it out.

  I logged in via phone number and clicked forgot password.

  Then disconnected the phone number from that account then deleted the account.

  You will need a junk email to do this though.
