Hacked and ghosted by Discord.

Yes, I'm dumb and got myself hacked with a script kiddie. There is context as to *why* I clicked it and I was socially engineered (its embarrassing enough as it is).

I sent a ticket to discord on the 4th and we had a back and forth until the 5th or 6th of Sept with 2 correspondences from Discord and I haven't heard from them since. I sent a message 3 times last week with 48 hours in between each message asking for an update.

My account is still there I can see and its still friends with my friends I had on there. I am a small business owner and I had a lot of contacts and important messages there. Apparently its a ring that targets badge owners so they can sell the account (learned that there's a market for that apparently, who knew).

Am I just SOL? This seems really shitty that Discord would just ghost me after I provided everything short of a fingerprint to verify myself as the owner. I sent another ticket in 2 days ago but I'm just feeling defeated and I feel like I should just accept that Discord doesn't give a shit.

Any advice? I was told to post on the forums but not really sure what will come out of it. I just want to be able to say I tried everything.

Hey man,
I had the same thing happen to me. I sent a ticket on the 31st of August. They only send out the "copy paste" replies and say they are escalating the ticket. In the mean time that same script kiddie that falsified a Discord Mod is still out there...running rampant...and if youre a regular user they dont respond fast. But if youre a streamer, dude they fixed that in like 4 days. Here I am pushing out to week 3 and still nothing either. This kind of Support Service is unacceptable. Whats worse is that their 2FA did not work in protecting my email. It worked fine when i was trying to purchase my nitro subscription but when something important like an email change occured their 2FA failed me. Im telling you man...im starting to regret supporting Discord.

Honestly I dont think Discord really cares. I just went ahead and made a new account. Their support team is quite literally an embarrassing joke of a team. Just another example of how people who do literally nothing and yet still get paid. And Discord wants more people to subscribe to Nitro. I miss the way this program was handled 3 years ago. They had such a promising business...now it feels like they are just taking from everyone.
