Discord 2FA

Okay, I will keep this short and simple. I hate the discord 2FA system. Discord has been my main texting app (along Snapchat) for about 2 or 3 years now. I enabled 2FA on my account so I could mod one of friends servers that I needed 2FA to use moderation powers for. At the time I didn’t worry about “backup codes” and stuff like that, because quite honestly I didn’t even know what they were for. About half a year later and my phone broke, so I’m like okay lemme login on my pc and tell everyone the news. I go to my pc to see that I cannot log into my account as I no longer have the 2FA that was on my broken phone. So I lost 3 years of data on my discord account, I’ve lost many friendships that I now cannot get back as I may have forgotten their tags or the server we talked in. I am extremely disappointed in how discord has worked 2FA. I’ve seen a post about them removing 2FA from all accounts so people could get their stuff back and I’m all for it. I also lost all the mee6 chat leveling that I had in my main servers (level 70+) with over 100k messages. I hope discord does something to fix this soon because I feel like this has been a problem for a lot of people. Thanks for reading through.
