Brand new and improved messaging user interface

I have had this idea for a while now.

Currently, the texting format is confusing and hard to understand for new users.

I suggest implementing a way of not just bolding, but also formatting text before you send it.

For example, currently there is no way of changing a text's color. 

I would love to see a new UI where you can pick the color of your text, bold, font, etc.

This would also benefit those with visual impairments.

I greatly appreciate anyone who agrees with this suggestion.

  I agree that a bit better formatting support would be great.

  Even the options that you have when posting a comment on this forum are much more convenient that the ones you have in the Discord app itself.

  Stuff like Headings (at least H1-H3) would be great. We have bold and italic in the app but the way to use it is a bit old school in my view.

  But what I'm missing the most - by far - is the ability to format links.
  E.g. posting a link to this ticket should defo look like this: Brand new and improved messaging user interface,
  not like this: https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/4413011818775-Brand-new-and-improved-messaging-user-interface
