Can't access account and no response from Discord Support
I was creating a new discord account for my wife using her email but I also attempted to use my mobile as well, not knowing that was not possible or allowed, I had already used it for my account. In doing so, my mobile was removed from my account and my wifes account was not created. Now I cannot verify my account and I can't login. I logged a call with Discord support with no reply for 4 days now. In frustration I logged another call with Discord and they closed it with no update. I am not sure where to go from here??

I do not see why you would use a phone number in which is connected to another account already, as that wouldn't work. It would clash with the data in which is already in the databases, thus removing it from one place and attempting to add it to another. With a 2FA lockout, discord cannot remove it because of security reasons and regulations.It is up to you to keep your 2FA account details and pieces of account ownership evidence safe. As a community, we cannot get your account back, but maybe if you can verify with the Discord Trust and Safety team that you do indeed own the account (meaning you can provide proof) then they can possibly get you back into it. Otherwise, have a search on your device for a file called Discord_Backup_Codes.txt or a similar name. This may hold backup authentication codes for your account. I would always recommend refreshing these codes every month to be more secure.

I know now that it was not wise to try and create a new account for my wife using my mobile. My bad but when registering the new account why wouldn't it just tell me the number was already associated with an account and to use a different number? It didn't. What it did do was remove my number from my account and I could no longer log into my account. So by that logic if someone, intentionally or in error tried to create an account using my number, my number will get removed from my account and I will not be able to log in, I will not be able to verify my number coz there is no way to add the number again because I have been logged out.
My issue is I have logged 4 support requests regarding this and 3 of the requests have been closed with no update and the original request has been open 6 days now with no update. You have provided some information on how I can resolve this and I appreciate it.
Funnily enough, I have now logged back into my account by verifying my account with my wife’s number. How does that work ????
Now that I am logged back in, I will look to remove her number and re-add my number and hope it doesn't go pear shaped.0
