Partnered Server Owner Hacked and Discord Ignoring Tickets
Hello! I am the former owner of the Partnered Asian community server of Discord, Yellow Fellows (discord.gg/asian). In an effort to bring attention to the struggle of my now lost communities and spread awareness of proper Discord conduct, I would like to share my story.
Around noon of November 11th (11/11/2021), I received an email from a trusted individual. The message was not unlike what would be expected from them—it asked if I would be willing to test a simple game made by them. I like to categorize myself as a helpful individual, so I obliged and downloaded the MediaFire .exe they sent. Upon opening it, I was promptly logged out of my Discord, so I logged back in to attempt to inform the individual of what happened. A buzz from my phone showed me an email from Discord stating that my email for the account has changed to “partnerop123@gmail.com”. By then, I was powerless and unable to salvage my account due to Discord’s broken email alteration that does not even send a confirmation email. The hacker had my email and password changed, disabled 2FA, and began their rampage on my Discord servers (I own several).
I submitted a support ticket using the email originally attached to the account, and the hacker screenshotted this ticket and began to pose as me in my Partnered server. They attempted to convince my members that I somehow recovered my account and banned all people who knew that I was still hacked/those who tried to spread the news of what was truly happening. The hacker left a clear indication of who they actually are, as they invited their main account to every server my account is in. Their Discord tag is Affect#0001, they have a very ugly profile picture with a red-haired anime character in flames. They posted their website in their About Me: https://solo.to/xv and it is confirmed they are Brazilian from both their location posted on their website, and from their use of Portuguese (a language I DO NOT know) for everyday speech.
I sent Discord a ticket using another email in helps of getting support, and a representative named “Matthew G” got back to me saying that my ticket will be moved higher up and that he will update me. That reply was sent on 11/11 and it is now 11/15, so it is clear they are ignoring me in spite of all the information I provided, the clear indication that I was hacked as the theme of the server was abruptly changed to something that does not even remotely align with Discord ToS. However, with all of this happening, Discord is still not doing anything and is putting other Partnered Server Owners in danger of being phished by allowing my hacked account to be exposed to the Partnered Server Owner population—this makes it so that the most important communities on Discord are vulnerable to hacking, and I am sure there is another person out there who fell victim to the malware.
My partnered account and server are so obviously hacked. I have never spoken Portuguese yet the hacker used fluent Portuguese, logged in from a location completely different than my own, changed everything about my servers—including making the Partnered server be named the literal n-word, and yet Discord has done completely nothing in spite of the urgency of this situation. They won’t even reply to me on any social media platform. I shoved being Partnered in their face out of reluctance in hopes of being put on a high priority queue, but this just goes to show that Discord does not value any individual on their platform—as they aren’t when interested in protecting their most important members (not me, but the others).
During the time in which I had been hacked (and even still now), the hacker has since been banned after attempting to purchase over $100 USD worth of Nitro through my connected PayPal account--which even PayPal handled and refunded way before Discord even breathed in my direction. The hacker changed almost everything about the server. Once the partnership was taken away due to their mishandling (changing the theme of the server and removing too many members), they changed the server name to the n-word and spam pinged all members.
How Discord is allowing the Asian community server of Discord be destroyed without care is beyond me. My members are starting to believe that this negligence comes from a place of racism because other victims in the chain of this particular hacker's predation patterns (none of which are Asian) were able to recover their accounts with little information provided. On the other hand, I provided every UID, SID, name, address, time of making account, original email, literal pictures of the physical gifts Discord sent in the mail, details about the hackers, etc. only to be given the same bot reply and then ghosted time after time (I am maybe on my 6-7th ticket).
I hope this reaches the right people. Stay safe out there, all!

You can reply again with a single ticket, it may be to your detriment if you send more than one ticket.

Hi SadTakeoff,
I am in a very similar situation (not partnered but a large community server owner.)
Have you heard back from Discord at all? I’m currently sitting at 4 days after being told that my ticket is being “escalated.”
For the popularity of Discord, I’m quite disappointed with their commitment to customer support. :(0 -
Update on my end. After 4 days of waiting I received an email back helping me retrieve my account. Making multiple tickets is most likely ill advised. All I did was occasionally reply to my open ticket via email just to ask for an update on progress. I wish you all luck getting your accounts back.
