I understand wanting to have special things for Nitro, but I think it would be nice if regular users at least had the option to have a .gif as a profile picture too.

  It would be very nice but having a.gif emoji is in nitro cause well its nice because if they made it available for everyone then nitro would have 1 less cool thing... I mean your spending money for it so Discord wants you to feel like its worth it and make people buy nitro so ye
