Alternative option in case of loss of two-factor authentication codes

Good evening, I create this post in order, I hope, to convince you to put an alternative connection option in case of loss of two-factor authentication codes.

It consists simply to put an option on the application (and on the site) "Forgot A2F code" which would propose to enter an e-mail address of which we are the owner and which would send a code to be able to connect and which would expire after 5 minutes

I hope this idea will be accepted in order to solve a problem like this one

    If Discord would be able to figure out a safe way to do this, it would be a great idea! I don't know how emails would work since they can be pretty easily hacked, so if someone gets access to your email, say, then they can just reset your password, 'forget' your 2fa code, and completely lock you out of both your Discord and email accounts.

    Yes but it's up to people to be careful not to get hacked
