Friend is "banned" from my server

So i made a friend server, and my friend jokingly left, but now he can't rejoin. When others friends send him an invite, it says he's banned from the guild, and when i do it, it just doesn't work. I checked the ban logs, nothing. He just cannot rejoin at all. Help please? (yes I am the owner, and I didn't give any of my friends ban perms.)

    Are you sure that your friend isn't banned on any alternative accounts? If another account other than your friend's main account is banned from the server and it's using the same IP address, (basically coming off of the same WiFi or device) then it will ban all accounts trying to join from that IP.

    my friend has a sister and i banned the sister mabye thats the problem
