Discord server - Opening hours

Hi! I run a small business and we were wondering, with my colleagues, whether there could be an option to prevent people to post any messages outside of opening hours (i.e : 8 am > 7pm). We all work remotely, and this could prevent people to work late on night and post important messages when no one else is connected.

    You'll be better off using something other than discord. There is no privacy, and definately no security. Once discord gets it in their head to disable your account, or delete your server, there is no appeal process that can be used that can be relied on, and you loose everything.

    A workaround is using or programming a bot that can mute and unmute channels based on a users role and the current time.  I've seen it in a few servers and it works well, though if your business is reaching users around the world, I suggest you hire trusty moderators to combat any difficult situation while you are offline.

    Jest wielu ludzi na tej samej łodzi co ty, a niezgody to nie obchodzi. Po prostu usunęliby twoje konto, abyś stracił wszystko, naprawdę im to mniej zależy. Mnie też to zrobili.

     

    There is a lot of people in the same boat as you, and discord just don't care. They would just as soon delete your account so you loose everything, they really care that less. They did that to me in fact as well.
