something out of the ordinary was detected...WHAT?
Something out of the ordinary happened last hour. I was texting some people for a group I'm making, and a discord pop-up says, " We detected something out of the ordinary. " and told me to verify with a phone instead of email. I am not gonna verify with the phone due to privacy reasons. An hour has passed. I cannot get in. Please add an email verify, or get me back into my account! :( I will try to contact discord for some assistance.

I'm experiencing the same issue right now, and i'm frankly upset, it seems from other clues i have gotten that the only option is to sadly... make a whole new account.

It could happen again, even if you make a new account- because, this happens due to discord assuming you are a bot. They use phone verification to ensure that you are human. Which is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of- but bots run rampant on discord, so it is a thing. That said though, I also got this error, after I added six people from among us yesterday. They sent me the friend request, I just accepted it. But, even though I have a number on my account, it won't let me verify. This is due to having removed an email from my account back in 2017, and discord making a separate account with that email which took my phone number with it. Even though I never actually created that account myself. I can't access the account, because I don't remember that password, and I deactivated the gmail account associated with it back in 2017 after a nasty break up with my ex, since the account had his last name on it. Now, I cannot access my account I have used since before that break up. I am livid with this, and livid with support for not responding in a timely matter to their support tickets. Can't imagine waiting 20 hours!
