Banned from servers a second after I join them

So, I'm getting banned from servers the very next moment after I join them. I know it sounds weird when I phrase it like that, but here's what happened:

I left a server to rejoin it using my alt (which I'd been planning to use as my main). I managed to get into the group, but the server icon (along with the bot that greeted me) vanished the very next second. It only took a moment. Now, I'm unable to rejoin it. I get the message "Whoops! Unable to accept invite".

I'd normally have thought that the mods had somehow banned me, but it happened again. This time, I joined the official Discord Town Hall server. I've never been there before. Once again, I was able to join, but it vanished the very next moment. I'm unable to access it again.

Is it a bug? Am I doing anything wrong? If you can help, it'd be much appreciated. It's really annoying.
