account has been hacked than banned
over a week ago my discord account was hacked into and the hacker proceeded to spend my money on discord nitro and try to DM other people to hack them and get there info, i contacted as many as my friends as could to tell them to not click any link, i then made a new discord account to try and see if i can contact more friends to warn them.
the hacker than messaged me on discord saying "give me money" for the return of my account and i have screen shows to prove as well.
i contacted discord support like 5 mins after i was hacked, i never received any human response untill 3 days later, and the response was quote
"Sorry about the situation as a whole, but thanks for that info. I just wanted to let you know that I'll be escalating this ticket to a team member to look into this further. I genuinely apologize for the inconvenience but feel free to let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime.

it has now been 5 more days since that response and nothing, ive asked more questions and have gotten silence, ive tried tweeting and contacting them on discord more silence, and other people reply to my tweet (that are clearly more hackers trying to get more stuff)
my cell phone number is still associated with this account, so i have clearly tons of proof that this account was mine and compromised, but i dont understand why it takes so long for even INFORMATION.
i have never been through a support team that takes this long to reply with just information, usually the most i wait is 3 days, but im hearing stories of weeks months and sometimes years.
i just want help thats all please.

discord will not assist you. in fact, they will protect the hacker, and ban your account. If you keep trying to get help, they will blacklist your email so you can never reach support again. The exact same thing happened with me when I kept trying to get answers as to why my account was disabled when I sent an email to a private company, regarding information that was never sent on discord in the first place.

Same here, have been hacked and looking for support for over 2 weeks now.
Had the same response as you had but still I'm waiting to get help.
But if i make a ticket that i would like to cancel my nitro on my hacked account, i get a response within 1 hour.
It seems like they don't do shit for customers, only here for the money

okay guys update on my situation, long story short i got my account back.
from what it seems ya gotta harrass them, i got my account back on monday around 5 pm
before that i was tweeting at the constantly to get help, only replies i got were from more scammers asking for my info, then i posted this story here on the forum to get some help, then i made a reddit post on thier reddit page, and constantly opened tickets from different emails i have to get some sort of an answer.
finnaly they responded to me and fixed everything in like 5 mins not even joking, they refunded what the hacker stole from me and gave me my account back with my email on it.
seems to me they dont like bad public press, i had tons of people agreeing with me on reddit about how un responsive the support system is.
now i cant confirm weather my badgering of there support team actually did somthing but i can say after almost 2 weeks of silence, after making all 3 posts on twitter, reddit and here, i got a responce back within the hour soo i dunno.
use this if you can maybe my story will help you, all in all this has been probably the worst experience with support ever, id rather be on hold for 2 hours with my internet provider, than almost 2 weeks of silence while some hacker takes all my info and account.
