Add the ability to reply to messages from a different channel

I wasn't sure if this would go under this section because it is technically server management, but I thought of an idea to give people the ability to reply to messages from another channel. A lot of the time in my server, people tend to get carried away in their conversations and completely go off topic from the theme of the channel. What if you were able to reply to someone's text in the appropriate channel as a way to control the conversation and keep them in their right channels. Maybe even have text after the last post on the other channel that says "{user} replied to this post in {channel}" similar to what it says after a post is pinned to a certain channel.
