No response after trying everything
I've gotten no response from Discord after 4-5 days of my account being hacked, with proof that i'm the owner and that thye're just using my account.
i've got an early supporter badge and have been a nitro subscriber since december 2018, and subscribed back in 2015 when discord was in its infancy.
now look at them. I might aply for a support position just to help. This is just insanely ridiculous.
i've attempted a reddit port but it's yet to be approved, i've made twitter posts suggested by DISCORD THEMSELVES, and DM'd them on twitter, again, as suggested by DISCORD. I've made 2 tickets on my main account and the hacker was responding from the support page to them and they ignored all my evidence and just stopped responding. they haven't touched the ticket i made on my alt email, and they're responding to my friends who are ALL REPORTING IT (at least 7 reports from them, plus my 3) and they're getting back to them before even TRYING to contact me in anyway.
the most they did was change the account password, but that won't do anything, as i've already communicated to them that my 2fa was stolen, changed, and so were my backup codes.
i'm powerless, and discord is just not there for me, or anyone.

I am in contact with Discord right now about the same issue. They will not help you. Discord is a pathetic and disgusting company that are no help to people like us that are Early Supporters.
Just because someone has accessed your account and removed 2FA, they will not help for 'Security purposes'. It is disgusting. Login tokens should not be a thing. Being able to generate new backup codes at any time should not be a thing. Changing 2FA without first notifying the person BY EMAIL should not be a thing.

they're not a crappy company, they have a problem with their support team/system in that it's not big enough.
on top of that, yes they need to change how they have 2FA setup. 1 mistake that may not even be the account owner's fault, shouldn't be this hard to get back.1 -
No, they most definitely are a crappy company. They do not endeavour to help anybody that has their account hacked, and hides behind corporate speak and archaic, convoluted security protocols.

I'd rather not generate hate toward the company, nor do i want to wish ill upon them. I just want their help, and i've seen them help others within a week.

I understand. But when you finally do get a response from them, let me tell you exactly what they will say, which is what they have said to me, and many other people throughout Discord, and is the main reason why there are so many posts in the 'Account and Server Management' section of this feedback site.
"Unfortunately, if 2FA has been enabled on the account, our support team is unable to remove the verification due to the security concerns involved. The only way you'll be able to regain access is if you have access to the backup codes that were created when 2FA was set up.
On the other hand, if you're unable to disable 2FA and you would like to permanently delete the account, that's something we can do. In that case, please confirm the registered email address that you want to be removed and I'll be more than happy to get the process started for you. For example, you could respond writing, "I confirm that I would like to delete the account associated with random@email.com." depending on your email address."0 -
wow i just got that email. that's so pathetic though.

It is indeed, and is why I have no problem hating Discord from this moment on. Welcome to the ranks of hundreds of other paying customers that Discord have categorically, unequivocally failed.

This is currently happening to me, any other way to get in contact with them? This really sucks even a year later

I'm in this mess now and I'm threatening to go down to their corporate offices in California. I use my account for bot development, and I was fooled into downloading a program from a friend whom had already been hacked. I had 2FA on my account, but it doesn't matter because the hackers somehow went right past that. And now that code no longer works. Since I created my account in 2015 I do not have the backup codes. It's been too long!
